What are the materials used in oxygen pipelines?

Many types of metal materials are used in oxygen pipelines, commonly including stainless steel, copper, and aluminum. These metal materials possess characteristics such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance, making them ideal for oxygen pipeline construction.

1. Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is one of the most commonly used metal materials in oxygen pipelines. It has excellent corrosion resistance and does not easily rust or burn under high temperature, high pressure, and high oxygen content, thus it is widely used in hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, and other oxygen delivery applications.

2. Copper

Copper is a metal material with excellent thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, commonly used in the manufacture of oxygen pipelines and fittings. Copper products use silver soldering for connections, ensuring the safety of the oxygen pipeline.

3. Aluminum

Compared to stainless steel, aluminum is lighter, and its strength and corrosion resistance are also very high. Aluminum products can maintain stable performance even under ultra-high pressure and high oxygen concentration conditions.
