Product Description
Neutral displacement connectors are needle-free IV access valves designed to keep the fluid level stable during the connection and disconnection of syringes or administration sets. By preventing blood from refluxing (backing up) into the catheter tip, they help reduce catheter occlusions and minimize the risk of bloodstream infections. The connector will function within any clamping protocol-either before or after the male luer is disconnected from the connector. When the needle free connector attached to an extension tube (one/two/three way), it is featuring multiple individual lumen that allows for simultaneous, independent fluid infusions or blood draws through one insertion site.
