COVID leads to more opportunities for production set up of medical
consumables globally. Basically it is one good thing to have manufacture base locally rather than to import consumables from China for saving long time of production and shipping. However, to seek to build standard medical base and solid quality of all necessary machineries, molding, technical support, material, maintenance, training etc would take up to 1-2 years, not to even speaking of getting your manufacture license and get everything to be compliable with your local laws and medical qualifications.
Take CN standard of even small medical factory which produces general medical consumables for example. It is a must to have 100,000 grade of clean workshop (including washing, cleaning, sanitary ware room, assembly room, buffer room, semi-assembly area, injection molding workshop and extrusion workshop etc) should you want to get product or relevant certificates successfully (unless you want to produce some non-sterile products or do OEM production for others). 10,000 grade laboratory is also needed. The rest hardware refers to central air conditioning, water treatment system, injection molding machine and extruders, laboratory related equipments, packaging workshop, warehouses for both materials and finished products etc. Thus we strongly request every customer/investor to plan thoroughly on your line set-up, do necessary math on your plan and ROI (Return on Investment) no matter how long it takes.
